I saw it was on the calendar today at www.ilga.gov Does anybody know if it passede the house. Today was to be the third reading and I missed it live online.
Having lived in IL for most of my adult life (then thankfully moving to MO!) their calendar is not always the same as the one you have hanging on your wall. Here's hoping for reciprocity with my neighbor state this year!
The calender is only bills which may be called. It will not be voted upon until the sponsor is ready. There is also a major amendment coming that has not yet been filed. The amendment contains some compromises which were requested from law enforcement groups in order to get their endorsement. Once filed, the bill will have to go back through committee and second reading before it gets voted on by the full house.
The house and senate is on spring break for a week or two. It will be a bit before the big day comes.
Bills on the calendar won't necessarily be called. HB148 is on the calendar every day along with a ton of other bills.
