Hello all,

I've been lurking here for a couple of months since a friend pointed out this site to me. I finally got up the courage to register and join. :what:

I just wanted to say hello, and also mention that I'm looking forward to joining you all in the interesting discussions that take place around here. I post over at Sigforum.com a lot, a little bit at GT (not much recently, with all that has been going on).. but.. anyway ;)

Ever eat at Bob Sykes Barbecue? (I think its in Bessemer?)

My GFs family lives in Greene County and couldn't wait to take me there when I was visited....

Yep, I sure have! It is a nice place too!

I usually eat at The Golden Rule BBQ in Irondale, AL.. when the mood strikes me just right.

Up here in Bawlmer the best BBQ I've had is at The Canopy (lots of locations). Cept up here us Yankees call it "Pit Beef".

I brought the GFs parents some bagels and they called 'em "Yankee Biscuits"!:D
