I live in the Naples Florida area and I cannot seem to find an FFL who will do a transfer at a reasonable price. The largest dealer in town wants $65 per item ++.

I have emailed FFLs from different lists but have not had a positive response as yet.

Willing to go 30 miles to affect a transfer.

Please help.

Wow, $65! We have tons of people in Missouri that do them from $10 to $25. Keep looking. Call some of the bait shops. I have used them and had good luck since they are usually small, family owned, and have low overhead.

Better yet, get your own FFL, charge $30 and you'll put them all out of business and retire to Florida. :p

That's too high. I have a decent FFL that charger $20...

There is no shortage of unscrupulous FFL's out there, though. I've run into my share of shady characters that have pulled Bait n Switch pricing on me. This just gives this industry a bad name. Make sure when you call around to get his price, and all hidden fees beforehand. None of this, call the state police fee, and scratch yer azz fees ..best to find one reliable guy and stick with him.
