I picked up this stock at a pawn shop today. It is obviously an AK style side folder, all steel with an aluminum mounting block and a plastic spacer/cube thing. It folds to the left rather than the right like Tapco, and it seem very similar to the Ace Ltd. stock but it has the hinge integral to the stock. No markings.
I also bought a grip that might or might not be from the same source, it says "Stock Options, California" and is made in USA. I think they came together because the grip had the mounting screws for the stock in its package. (the grip was is the box with the handgun grips, and the stock was is a box in the corner with other junk.
The problem is it does not fit my AK perfectly. I have a Saiga conversion, which equates to a standard stamped receiver. The mounting block is slightly small, and the holes are slightly widely spaced. I am thinking it is maybe for a Milled receiver?
Anyone know where I can get a different adapter?
Anyone have a Ace Ltd stock, and can measure the mounting holes between the mounting block and the hinge/stock? (I think That might work)
