I can't decide between. Don't say buy both. Only want one.

Dan Wesson guardian 38 super

Dan Wesson CCO 45acp

Please pick the one you would want for EDC.

No offense but Dan Wesson seems like a fun collecting gun not an EDC. My EDC gets dumped in the pile with my wallet, keys, knife, flash light, etc.

Are you new to ccw or just affluent? Those are damn nice guns.

Not new to ccw, carry Dan Wesson ECO now. Just wanted something different. As to affluent. Just a guy that's worked hard and made a few bucks:)

I really like 45 for most things, but I chose the Super 38, cuz why not have something different? More rounds on tap and all that stuff too.

I've loved the shorter grip/ longer barrel style of the CCO for years- always found the but harder to hide than the barrel. plus, IMO, .45> .38.

Choosing a gun chambered in a less popular, more exotic, hard to find, non traditional, or just odd ball caliber is always going to have more cons then it's pros if you plan on shooting it a lot. If you're going to put just a couple hundred rounds through said gun a year then this won't matter, but being a carry gun I would hope you'd shoot it at least a tab bit more. Plus as a carry round I don't see the benefit of 38 super over 45 and you won't have the choices in brand selection of defensive ammo. There's just really no benefit of choosing 38 super over 45 for a carry gun

While I would love to have another .38 Super in the stable I'm just not a big fan of the Bobtail grip configuration. What I do like is the slightly more abbreviated grip of the CCO. Fits my smaller size hands perfectly.

I find that under speed/stress, I have trouble gripping the officer well enough to activate the grip safety on my ECO. Hence, I carry my VBOB when I 1911 carry. My vote is for the commander.
