Help Me Identify My Savage Model 10

I just got a Savage Model 10 in a trade today and im trying to identify which exact model it is. I know very little about bolt rifles so I will tell you what I know about it. It has a fluted barrel that seems kind of short almost like the precision carbine but im not sure the exact length. The guy I got it from was a LEO and said that be purchased it from his department. It has a detachable mag and the barrel only says Savage Model 10. There is a 7 digit number at the base of the action but im pretty sure this is just the serial number. Any ideas?
