I have a Winchester coyote lite in 22-250 calibre.I bought it new about a year ago, a friend of mine told me there is a dealer down in england who has one in .243. My problem is, do i want it because it is a .243 or because it is a Winchester? There can't be many more of them going around now and they really are a fine tool.Do i need a .243?:(

Seems like the market is pretty flooded with them around here.
So far, the collectors aren't jumping up and down to get them either.

What do you use the 22-250 for in the UK?

Do you need something bigger to do the job, or do you just want someone to tell you to buy another gun?

O.K.!
If I was you, I'd buy it before someone else gets too it first and you miss out on this rare opportunity of a lifetime!

How's that? :D

What part of the U.K. are you in?

I had thought firearms ownership was almost impossible there.

Roe Deer, you for sure need a .243.
Go for it!

Up in scotland, It's not an easy task to get a firearm here, it takes forever and is so complicated and expensive. depends also what county you live in, and the way the local police interprete the law. Thanks for the back up onemsumba!! btw roe deer are pretty small, not like reds.

btw rumor is they are going back into production next year.

Onem, where did you hear this? I have a M70 '06 that I bought several years ago when they started making positive feed actions again. I'd love to have one in a Varmint caliber of sorts if they come out again.
