Uh oh...So I originally started shopping around for a revolver for my lady friend and what do you know? I just haaaaave to go and get another one for me. I want to know what guns you guys would recommend for my wants.I dont mind buying used either.

Has to have...
1.Single action (Preferably with a trigger pull less than 5 lbs...I just like them like that)
2.preferably 10-12 rounds (not 9mm)
3.500$ price range +or- 100$

Im aware of the witness match elites and they seem the best bet so far as they have the high capacity and very easy trigger pull. I love the 1911 platform but I want a few more rounds in the mag available and the prices for a good one are not possible right now.

You could probably find a used Browning Hi Power in .40 for around $600. How about a CZ 97B in .45 or a CZ 75B SA in .40?

Springfield XD in .40 or .45.

The Walther P99 in .40 would fit that bill. It is single action but has the ability to be double action if you elect to use the decocker.

The new Millenium Series Taurus's seem to be a fine pistol and a great price. Just get the latest model and you should be fine. I've got the PT-145, 10 round mag in a 45, and it is one of my favorite pieces. Totally reliable, fun to shoot and a great grip angle not to mention the manual safety. Just my 2c

Sig P225 (but its a 9mm and a 8 round mag) or a Used Glock. Both are outstanding values. You could look at a Rock Island .45 (again its an outstanding value) and maybe upsize to a bigger magazine. Otherwise I'd probably get a P226/229. Of course there is the ever popular XD-40/45. Good luck
