Help! Will Taurus Mags fit Beretta?

The PX4 uses different magazines than the Cougar it seems to have been modeled after. No Beretta 92 magazines work either.

Will, What year PT92 do they fit in. I have a couple new in wrapper Beretta
M9 mags my friend from the military gave me and they do not fit my older PT99 w/out the decocker.

I have two Beretta mags (courtesy of Uncle Sam's Confused Groupies :) ) that I modified to fit a Taurus PT92. You will need to file a small notch above the factory retention slot on the side opposite the mag release button on the grip. Just compare the Beretta mags to your Taurus mag and you will get a feel for the size. I'd say the notch adds 1/8th of an inch in height and 1/16th of an inch shorter than the total width of the factory slot. Start small and don't take too much metal off. Better to take your time and have to fit the mag than take too much metal off and ruin the mag.

Taurus mags in a Beretta

The Taurus PT99 and the Beretta 92FS mags are not interchangeable. The cut in each mag which allows it to lock in place is different, thus a Taurus mag will not lock in place in a Beretta and vice versa.
