Okay hoping for some great responses and help.
Just acquired a taurus pt 940. The gun is nice,
great shape, fun to shoot.
Now I know it is a slimmed down version of the
pt92/ pt100 series which is the taurus made
beretta 92/96since they bought the patent to it
all those years ago if I remember right? It's
supposed to be 20% lighter and smaller I believe
was the advertised intent?
Now here is my dilemma it is a rarer 9 round single stack
magazine model (magazine looks like a 1911 magazine in shape and size.)
Not the newer 10 round double stack magazine that looks like a pt92
magazine. Had to hunt and search for the 1 magazine
I now have for it. Taurus customer service says
they never made it in single stack even after I sent
them the magazine package number and pics of said
gun with magazine pictured together with the
magwell opening.
Any info on why they changed? Or just any info at all
would be appreciated.
Also any links with wood grips for sale or any
accessories for it. Especially mags.
