I'm sure it was just a simple mistake with the decimal point. It was supposed to be $199.50 for 50 rounds.

I have two in this area that gets them in about every 4 days. They usually take 2 days to sell out, but it's for a good price.

Probably will take a few more months to show up elsewhere, but it's making a comeback.

A LGS in Huntsville is selling .22lr 50rd boxes for $9.95 limit one per person. When I first saw the price I asssumed it was for 100, upset when I saw the 50.

Its hit or miss on prices around here.

Better hurry, only two left..........

Which one? I'm guessing the one on Jordan Ln that also sells primers for $50 / 1000.....

there aren't any LGS in central KY selling bricks for 20-25, more like 40-50, some are higher, i have been looking since january

I stumbled on that website earlier tonight as a matter of fact. I remember paying $8-$9 a brick for the same stuff at K mart many moons ago. I could drive to their business but it would cost me an additional 1/2 tank of gas.

Yesterday at Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine TX they had over 20 525 round boxes of Remington Golden bullet for $23.49. I was there at lunch and the guy at the door told me they had been sitting out all day. They also had boxes of 50 subsonic for $3.49.

Got an email last night from Mark's in Birmingham offering bricks or Aguila for the low price of $69.99 while supplies last. I bet I spent $5k a year at Mark's before he died. Now I spend maybe $500.

I still have a brick of that exact .22 ammo that I bought in the late 60's-early 70's for around $8.00. Maybe now would be the time to sell it, no I wouldn't feel right doing that. I'll let my grandson shoot it when he is old enough.

Last .22 lr. I bought (a week ago) was Federal .22s for $2.49 a box of 50.

That is still $24.90 for 500 but good enough.

With all this .22lr shortage price gouging crap thats going on. I really don't feel bad when I ordered some Federal Automatch online. I meant to only order 6 boxes at $11.95 each I actually ordered 12 boxes. Now I don't feel bad at all and the only 325rd brick of Automatch I've found in stores was $24.95

Just get an old mosin. I picked one up for 160 and bought a crate of surplus ammo for it. Much more fun than a .22 and it seems to be cheaper to do these days.

$23.00 for a 500 round brick of Remington thunderbolt. yes, its the cheap ammo, but its is the only "cheap" ammo ive found lately.

Jeeze, seems like when I was a kid that Winchester Super-X 50rd. boxes were 79 cents or so. Can't remember for sure, but they were cheap. Fished a lot of soda bottles out of ditches for .22's back in those days. Better times I've never had.

The Mosins are too punishing for a day of shooting. Lately I have rediscovered the joys of pellet gun shooting. My two newest (one in .22 and one in .177) are as expensive as a good .22 rifle, just as accurate, and the ammo is cheap and highly available. It'll keep me shooting til the .22LR ammo comes back at less than usurious prices.
I did recently manage to get 500 rounds of .22LR Minimag and 500 rounds of .22WMR Maximag from Midway - the 'notify' process works. Took too long to access by way of my home PC - it was gone by the time I got home from work. But my new Smartphone allows me to order as soon as the notify comes in! Worked for me!
