Hi-Point carbines (.40 S&W)

Does anybody know if the Hi-Point .40 S&W carbine can use Smith & Wesson magazines (or if it uses proprietary magazines?) or what the deal is?

Is it only the Marlin Camp Carbines that used Smitty mags? what?

Marlin Camp 9mm carbine used a model 59 Smith & Wesson mag.
Camp .45 used the .45 Colt mag.
Just a guess but I bet the Hi-Point uses a single stack mag of their own design.

Yes, Hi-Points use their own design single stack mags. They can't use hi-caps of any kind. If you want a carbine that uses S&W mags, check out the Kel-Tec Sub2000. It uses the 59 series mags.

HPs use their own mags. The 4095 mags work good with no issues just 10 rounds. My carbine is very reliable and darn fun to shoot. Mine is setup as a HD rifle with light on the front.
