I got one for $129 at one of our Pawn shops. The guy said he sells 5 a day.... darn gang bangers ?? It shoots good and is a fun range gun, heck I shot 150 rounds in less than 20 mins with no problems.

I'm going to paint Zebra stripes on it so it stands out at the range.

I have had a HP 45 for a year and it is a great nite stand, out on the farm gun. I have painted the grips Camo Tan and got a Crosman air pistol holster for it. It has handled every thing from WWB to Golden Sabers to +P Self Defense Ammo with no Smokestacks FTF ect. I also put a powerball grip over the grips to give mine a little more traction.

I have a .40 carbine, and bought my grandson a 9mm carbine. Both are tons of fun, and have given us NO problems so far. This is the first target with my .40, an indoor range, 50 rounds at 10 yards, open sights. Right out of the box, no sight adjustments whatsoever, shooting freehanded standing.

Hi Points are cheap, heavy, and feel like crap in the hand. What could you expect from such an economically priced pistol.

They also have lifetime warranties, shoot and shoot and shoot and shoot.

Anyone who likes handguns had better have a Hi Point. They are such a small investment and its almost comical how well they shoot. You just cannot believe something like that actually goes bang when you pull the trigger.

They are not good for carry but they are hell for fun. Get the 9mm and go to town.

The carbines are awesome as well. These are great ranch guns. As can be seen above the accuracy is there.
