I was on a waiting list for 18 months to get mine. It is my carry gun around the ranch. Does a number on feral cats and ground squirrels. Amazing light even with a full magazine. Fiber optic sights. Accurate and reliable after some break-in rounds. If I go traveling, I take the extra magazine and have 61 rounds at the ready.

Get an accurate 13-18 or so round 9mm and use high quality ammunition. I really don't think you'll regret it in the field.

Ceiner 1911 conversion has 15 round mag and it works.
Yep! I've got untold thousands through mine and it works flawlessly. Five more rounds doesn't sound like much but it makes shooting a lot more fun. Especially when you go through as much .22LR as I do.

Staggered magazines seem to work pretty good.

30 rounds of .22 magnum, extremely light. It had the weight and feel of water pistol when I hefted one at the LGS . I think you can still find them here and there (my guy still has the one I saw a few months ago).

Another thought might be the FN FiveseveN pistol. Standard mags are 20 rounds, but they do make 30 round extended magazines. Also the 5.7x28mm round is about four times as powerful as a 22LR and a lot more reliable.
