tactical types are always complaining about how the hi cap mags for their M1A or Steyr AUG are expensive. I of course can't buy a high cap mag in CA.

I can, however, get a replacement magazine for the Browning .308 Micro-Hunter I just bought it this past weekend.

The List price is $54 for a 5 shot magazine:cuss:

Now you stop that kind of talk right now Schuey2002, you are gonna make Destructo6 start bawling.:D

Sako Finnfire 5-rd. magazine. A plastic mag for a .22 rifle, a very high-end plastic mag admittedly, ordered from Beretta cost me $47 last year.

In all fairness, all magazines should work as well as these do.

Don't have the SL6 anymore. When I did own it, about 10 years ago, 4 and 10-rnd magazines were the same price at $80, assuming you could find them at all.

Who would've guessed that almost 10 years after the 10-rnd limit was imposed that certain >10rnd mags would be les expensive than ever (AK, HK-91, FAL, more?)?

Magazines for the Browning T-Bolt (22LR) are running about $100 in my neck of the woods... if you can find them.

Stripper clips for my SKS at a recent gun show: 10 for $5.00.

Sorry. Had to toss that one in.:neener:

The last 30-rd magazines...

...I saw for my Beretta AR-70 were being offered online for $180/ea. The downside? The seller would only sell them to you if you purchased his AR-70, too.

Hmmmmm......30 round AK mags from AIM, $6.95 each. 40 round AK mags, $14.95 each. 75 round drums, $95. Sometimes, it just saves you a lot of money to live in Arizona. And we have better chili than California. We make it with MEAT, not tofu.:D Pretty soon, in Cali, you think the mags are expensive, wait til you get around to filling them if they pass that .10 cents per round sales tax. You know, Kern County and the Mojave desert regions ought to secede from California and declare itself part of Nevada. Soon enough, you Calis are going to be registering your crossbows and having your knives do a "slash and stab fingerprint" into Play-Dough at your local police station after you buy them. Bows over 35 pound draw weight will require a bow lock on them and stored with arrows seperate when driving to the archery range. Bow quivers will be limited to 2 arrows, because a 5 arrow quiver has no sporting purpose.

SNIIIIIFFFFFFFF!!!!! AHHHHH!!! It is good to breathe freedom!

Sir Galahad,

Perhaps an AZ dweller like yourself could help a poor Vol find some cheap AR-70 mags?

No?

Well, it was worth a try... ;)

SKS stripper clips = $3 for 20
AK 30 round mags = $6 used:D
5 round mag for my CZ-452 = $25!

Dunno, there's a few that demand a premium in my gunsafes...

S&W Model 52, .38 Special, 5-round mags - $60.51

Remington 788, .30-30, 4-round mags - $?

Beretta BM-59, 7.62NATO, 20-round mags - $69.95

Desert Eagle, .357 Magnum, 9-round mags - $45.00

20-round 7.62NATO Galil mags are up there, too.
