Ok folks, my time here is thru.

Got 16 hours left in this country.

I am excited as heck to get back to the family and the good ole United States of America.

There isnt anything finer than the motherland.

Back to the family and my pistolas in good ole Tucson Arizona.

All I got to say is Adios Korea. May I never have to return. :D

Welcome back to the land of flush toilets and pizza delivery, Lennyjoe! I know of where you speak of-did 2 tours with the 2nd Infantry division back in the 70's. Don't forget, you don't have to duck in order to walk through the doorways anymore, and your field of vision will be once more obscured by many people just as tall and taller than yourself:D Make sure to brush your teeth really good to get rid of that last little bit of Kimchi breath-oh, and by the way, there's no need to squat. America is overstocked with chairs and assorted furniture, and nobody will pay any particular mind if you don't take your shoes off at the door! And most of all, thank you for your service! Leave the soujou there-we have real alchohol here, not laced with formaldehyde!

Welcome back, and a very gracious "Thank You" for your service.

Followed by a big sweeping tip of the hat, and a room full of applause.

I thought the motherland referred to England?! Maybe it's a cultural thing... Don't worry, I'll catch on to these "Americanisms" as I spend more time on THR. ;)

Lenny Joe,
Give it a week and you will miss the Kimshe and Soju.:D
Just try to stay sober on the flight home because my wife works the AMC counter at SEATAC and dosent care for trouble makers returning from overseas. BUT Customs is normally a breeze on the AMC missions.
Take care and welcome back. Did you get to see the wreckage from the F-16?
I wish I was back but I'm at a "deployed location"
Surfin the web and waiting for my ride home.

Ok folks, Im off to the airport.

Catch ya all online when I get to the mainland.

Make sure to rush out and buy a gun as soon as you get home

Oh yea. After I take care of my duties as a returning husband I will be out shopping for a pistol for the both of us.

Kimber for me and whatever she wants for her.

Let the journeys begin.:D

See ya soon.

Alas I am home and all is well

Long day for sure. Was up 33 hours

Got a first hand taste of the new travel security checks.

Got the full search deal when I went to get on my connecting flight out of Seattle

Shoes off, full scan of the body with the wand. Carryon bags searched. Even had the ziptie on my checked bags and a courtesy flier from the security folks telling me my checked bags were searched. Everything was back in its original place when I got them back

So now that I am rested its time to go out and get reacquainted with my pistols.

Shopping for another brother for them is next.

Its good to be back fellas.

Welcome back and thanks for your service.

Did you ever get to sleep on a heated floor the whole time out there?

I miss Korea but wouldn't want to live there.

Did you bring my girl back for me?

Never slept on a heated floor but my bed that I had was like sleeping on concrete.

Sorry Skunk, couldnt find her either.

Did you bring back some Daewoo rifles?

And for good measure. Two really tactical Korean dudes. Ahhh soooo!!
