I wouldn't call it a valid poll in the first place.

You misread, I wasn't talking about the poll being valid, I was referring to his idea that "a pro-gun community partaking in such poll would render the polls results invalid." This point is not a very sharp one. If this were the case, then they would (or should) specify that a certain type of person couldn't partake in this poll. If that were the case, then the poll would be void either way.
