I read the article, too, Bensdad--and I would call the article balanced, but not neutral.

Too many of their a priori beliefs are right out of the Brady Bunch playbook.

Wow. That seems remarkably fair-minded for something that came out of the LA Times. Usually it's 90% Brady talking points and one tiny paragraph about how the gun seller thinks he's treated unfairly.

I'll admit that many times I'll vote in a poll and not read an entire article associated with it because it is in my opinion biased against the RKBA. In this case and given the publication I was pleasantly surprised.

The lawmakers there don't care what folks think. I would like to see that the students at the various CA universities say. I bet they would overall vote NO.

Thats actually a loaded question, "knowing that some students or faculty might be carrying" , by leaving out any reference to training or CCW permit holders, they allow the question to easily be read as "would you feel safer knowing random people might be armed"


I actually don't feel safer at my university campus because I do know that "some students or faculty might be carrying guns", but I am allowed no provision to do the same, because I am following the rules. The fact that some students might be carrying is the exact reason I want to be able to carry.
