HK M1S90 price check

Hi all,
I am looking into buying semi auto HD shotgun soon. What's a current market price for a used HK M1S90 with 18.5 barrel, front ghost ring sight (no rear) and pistol grip stock? And what's the legality of mag extension tube? If the gun is marked "Heckler & Koch Steadling, VA" then is it legal to have mag extension of greater than 5 rounds? I am in CA if that makes difference. Thanks for your help.

Based on recently ending gunbroker auctions they seem to be going for about $950-1000.

I'm not sure what you mean by "front ghost ring sight, (no rear)". There are rifle sight versions with rifle sights mounted on the barrel, and ghost ring sights with a rear ring sight mounted on the receiver and a front sight post on the barrel.

The magazine extension legality is debatable, there is a letter floating around from the ATF that says it is illegal, but most guys run them that way for 3-gun and I've never heard of any issues with it. (This is all to do with federal law, I'm not sure what CA will have to say about it.)

waterhouse is right. around 950-1000 on the auctions. try ar15.com. there was an m3 on there for 1k yesterday. I think it is still there. have been a few of the m1's and m2 avail recently. still are. if they came with the extension from the factory, it would seem they are ok. if not, you never know. pistol grip and high cap on inports is usually a no no. the h and k marking is a pretty old shotgun. if it came with the extension on it I would not worry about it. I have one of the same models of h and k with the extension and I must tell you it is the ****. I won't shoot it as much in the future because my m4 is on the way and should have it next week. RG

H&K marked Benelli M1 & M3 Super 90 shotguns = no need to worry about federal 922(r) parts compliance, since they were imported into the USA before 922(r) came about.
