My father recently deemed his son (me) suitable for ownership of his HK P7K3
However, his P7 is currently chambered in .380ACP, and it would be much more convenient and cost effective if it was instead chambered for 9mm. I have heard that switching calibers is actually as simple as swapping out the barrel and magazine, but I have no experience with doing this in any firearm, let alone the P7.
Unfortunately, HK is taking quite some time to get back to me on this one (please, no HK customer service flame wars). Does anybody know if and how this can be done?
Thanks
