Hey everyone. I'm back with a few questions. I have used longshot in my .40 reloads to get amazing results. My question is will those results transfer to 9mm? If anyone has an load data to shar I am all ears. I am loading 124 grain HP Xtreme bullets. Thanks everyone!:D

I absolutely love Longshot for both 9mm and .40 cal.. As for data, it's in Hogdon's loading pages, start low, and work up as necessary until it cycles the action reliably.

BTW, I use it for jacketed bullets from 90 gr. to 147 gr. with no issues what so ever.

A while back the only powder I could find was Longshot. I'm still beginning to mess with it and it's working well for the 115gr FMJ and 147 LRN than I use.

My P89 shoots Longshot pretty well, but not as well as W231. YMMV.
I found it to be a 'snappier' feel than 231, not to my liking. again, YMMMV.
It was good in my pistol, just not my cup o' joe. It is my 2nd choice, to use when I can't find 231.

In short…Yes you can get similar results especially with heavier bullets i.e 147gr
Power Pistol and Longshot have very similar load dynamics. I have a very accurate 147gr Gold Dot load that does 1150fps out of my Gen 4 G19.
