I am going to start carrying with a hip holster. I normally use the in the waist band holster, but want to try something else.
I am not looking for any particular brand, just some information on the following two types of holsters. These will be for either a revolver or an auto.
On the paddle holster, I kind of like the idea of being able to remove it easily when I do not need it. My question on a paddle holster is - is it possible for the holster to work it's way up and possible fall off. It appears to me that this may be a possibility. My IWB holsters ride up once in awhile.
And also. are they fairly comfortable?
On the belt slide holster - which is the best one. I see that they come in a higher rise holster that rides higher on the hip, and the standard models.
I know the belt slide holster cannot fall off, but are there any other things to be considered?
I know the belt slide has to be used with a pretty decent belt.
Any information would be appreciated.
