Holster Shirt Opinions Please

I'm thinking of getting a 5.11 holster shirt for CCW of my LCP and/or my SP101. Does anyone have any experience with this shirt and have any comments or suggestions. My current carry is IWB on the strong side.

I don't carry often but I like the option once in awhile and I was looking for other warm weather options.

Probably would be comfortable and secure with the LCP. Probably will be uncomfortable and not "enough holster" with the bigger, heavier, rounder SP101.

Gonna make warm weather warmer. But most people don't carry IWB without an undershirt to keep the gun off your skin anyway, so that might be a wash. However, a camp shirt/Hawaiian/guayabera over your IWB (if you can dispense with the undershirt) is probably going to be the coolest combination for really hot & sticky days.

Draw from a holster shirt will be slower than a belt holster, but if you need to deep conceal, it's a lot better than the "Thunderwear" type holsters.

They are extremely hot. The newest version is better than the old one. But it's almost like wearing a thermal. It's good until the temp gets above cool. The sizing is also odd. I'd try one on before you buy.

My wife purchased a holster shirt from Optics Planet. She uses it to carry/ conceal her Micro Desert Eagle and she likes it a lot. She spends most of her days outside on the property and reports that it is very comfortable and secure.
