Home Depot Changes it's message, latest email

Thank you for your feedback.

The Home Depot has a long-standing policy prohibiting employees from carrying weapons in its stores.

The Home Depot does not prohibit anyone who is legally permitted to carry firearms from entering our stores, provided the firearms are carried in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Well, this is the last I recieved from them.

Seems that they changed their mind.

Good to know!

well, i got the same message in my email from them, so I suspect that the script that they send out has changed.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to inform you that I will no longer be shopping at your store due to your policy banning concealed weapons permit (CWP) holders from your store. I was very excited to hear that a home depot had opened in Harrisonburg, VA, as I prefer your store layout over Lowe's. However, Lowe's has openly stated that they welcome CWP holders into their stores, and outside of aesthetics, the stores are essentially the same. I am now in the process of outfitting and remodeling a nursery, and will be building a garage next year. Due to this policy, Lowe's will get my business on these, and all future projects.

Thank you,
