Hornady Case Feeder Help - Cam Wire

I need help with the cam wire and wire guide for the Hornady Case Feeder. Specifically, the wire is to short and doesn't stay inside the guide because additional threading was added to lower the cam wire. This was done because not enough adjustment was available to properly time the sequence of the slide with the shell plate (as seen in another post). Now the timing is perfect but the cam wire is to short and barely fits in the wire guide.

Does anyone have a modification that fixed the short wire (i.e., modified guide, weld extension to wire, etc). Would appreciate any suggestions. Pictures would be helpful.

Called Hornady Customer Service (spoke with Lonnie) and Hornady now makes a longer cam wire (part number 398299). Should have the part by the end of the week and didn't cost me a dime.

Hornady has great customer service. Time and time again, I have never been disappointed.
