The .338 brass came with the Winchester M70 Super grade rifle my son bought couple of years age. They have been reloaded 7 times.
If used for hunting, they might have got some gouge from going in and out of the rifle numberous times. I don't have the brass here at my place, but I will ask my son to inspect them. I suspect that gouge in the extractor groove may be the problem.
