I'd picked one up weekend before last, still waiting on the ammo I'd purchased from Century Arms.
Just got through installing a new firing pin spring.

Wished I had a scout scope mount.

I had an unissued M48BO that I equipped with a scout mount. It shot OK, good but nothing to write home about. 3" 100yd groups with good handloads were the norm.

Yup, about 2-4 inches depending on the rifle and ammo. 3 MOA was my typical results when I was into them. Slightly better than most Turks, but not as good as the VZ's or Persians. I think Tito had them built with pretty loose tolerances. Sturdy, but not as exacting as the Czech or German builds.

My M48 is more accurate than my "German built" K98. I can get really good groups out there. Closer to ~2MOA than 3. I feel the M48 is extremely accurate, at least mine is. It's the most accurate mil surp I've handled personally, though haven't handled czech models. It beats any Mosin I've ever fired. I admit I love my Mauser I hope I'm not biased :p

Texas,

You mentioned you hope you don't get sticky bolt. Though, some bolts are more prone to the sticky bolt problem, the biggest problem that causes sticky bolts are ammo digestion. There are some Yugo batches of ammo with steel bullets. Stay away from that they are loaded hotter, and my K98k and M48 hate that stuff. Headstamps on that batch consist of (top, sides, bottom in that order):"7.92, A A (sides), 1955"

Good luck hope you fall in love with that thing, I did.

Edit: I forget to mention that the ammo I directed you away from not only induces sticky bolt, but about 1/15 rounds is a misfire due to extremely hard primers. Maybe it's just my striker spring but I find other ammo batches to be superb. www.bigdogsammo.com has the best priced stuff that I could find. Very good batch of ammo IMO. If anyone disagrees let me know :)
