Owners tend to claim that both the 48s and the 24/47 are accurate-but how about a 3" group at 100 yards with old 50's Yugo and Czech ammo?
After becoming a bit spoiled by aperture iron sights on other WW2 rifles, my 48A is seldom used, and I don't know any techniques to shoot it decently or consistently.
It is ironic that classic rifles with these better sights generally use higher-priced surplus ammo, if it can be found (i.e. .303).
