No target photos, it never occurs to me to take them...
"Most accurate 4 inch" title goes to a model 28 (that outshoots any of my model 27's, irregardless of barrel length.) with a handload of a 180 gr. WFNGC and AA#9.
This revolver shoots 2" @ 50 yds. from a benchrest.
2nd place goes to a 625-6 Mountain Gun (.45 Colt).
I opened the cylinder throats to .4525" with a Manson finish reamer as they were too tight from the factory (as every new .45/.44 caliber S&W has been that I've acquired).
With a 255 gr. GCKTSWC and 2400 it will shoot 2.25" @ 50 yds.
