I've got a Model 25 that I received new as a birthday present as a wee lad. It has claimed many a tweety bird, numerous chichi birds, innumerable beer cans and tons of paper targets. Is there any way to determine when it was made? I am also having a problem getting it sighted back in now after so many years on the back burner. It was in my garage and I knocked it over accidentally. The front sight was bent a tad. I have gotten it sighted back in at about 25 feet, but to do so I had to really bend the rear sight. Just a guess but I'd say mid-'60s, but if you can post the Reg. No. that's stamped into the top of the receiver, I can get you the month and year if was made.

The rear sight is missing the elevation adjustment screw and the sight blade, the photo shows what it should look like. The sight blades come up on ebay occasionally. But I'm thinking there may be something else going on, based on how high the rear sight has to be set to sight it in. As an experiment, see where the point of impact changes when you turn the shot tube 1/2 turn out- that may tell you if the shot tube is causing an issue with where it's hitting on the target.

Working on the date, I'll post back when I get an answer. I suspect mid-'60s.

This is what the silkscreen design looks like. It was prone to wear easily.
