There are times, where you encounter people who come across as so dense you just want to backhand them.
Take my sister for example. We grew up very conservative and started shooting around 6/8 years old. (She's 2 years older than me.)
She major'd in some sort of music/drama crap, than transfered to another college and went Political Science. Our PS system is -extremely- left wing.
I went to the same college and graduated with a BA in Criminal Justice, took a lot of the same courses and professors. CJ's professors were very conservative, but the PS prof's I took had a very obvious slant to the left.
My very first day of class in college was American History and Politics, where the black professor started the class by telling about himself. He included a story of teaching a group of Deputy Sheriff's who refused to take their guns off coming to his class after he told them to. So he tells us that he couldn't make them take their guns off, but he could control their grades.
That sort of crap was pretty prevalent.
Anyways, this dear sister of mine - gets brainwashed evidently. I found later she had actually joined the Marxist Party.
Fast forward post college about seven years. She's living in Germany, her husband is a Major in the Army who was stationed there and was recently sent to Iraq.
Whenever she comes home to the U.S., she wants to go shoot. She loves it. Her husband is fairly conservative, not as much as me(since I'm an extremist evidently). But he likes to shoot also.
She has nothing against shooting, whenever she calls and I talk to her(once a month or so) she always asks about my competitions and new guns purchased, etc, etc. Or asks me to take some old friend of hers to the range shooting.
And I found out today that she's an Obama supporter.

Maybe I'm the only one getting tired of this bull**** of people being brainwashed by the left into thinking the poor polar bears are going to drown in melted ice caps, that we are out of oil deposits, that we are destroying the rain forest, that we should give the gov 50% of what we make, that we should be forced to give up our guns, that we should be forced to pay for universal health care, or have open borders, or that the war in Iraq is lost and we went to fighting for no good reason, Creation is a hoax, or that America is the devil and to blame for everything.
What a bunch of crap.
How is it these people have the intellect to breathe?
