More than 10 of each

I own more than 10 of both rifle and handguns in caliber .22 LR & short.

They are a hoot to shoot and I get to practice ALL my skills and the only difference is recoil.

I have four .22 revolvers.
Six .22 pistols.
eight .22 rifles.
I would also really like the .22 Ruger SP101 if I ever see one in my LGS.

This took off so much better than I could have ever expected! I'm really glad the community was willing to take the time to vote on this. I did it to show a new shooter that a .22 was not only a great starter gun, but that ever very experienced shooters lover their .22s. I'd say you all exceeded exceptions!

To the 2% of you without a .22 - Get one!

I grew up in Oregon and was stationed in Idaho for a year. I've had several of both pistols and rifles. Stuck in Ct. now and only have a Ruger pistol for the range.

.22s can get pretty addictive.

Only got 3.5 rifles (old Savage 24 owner), but up to 6 handguns now and got my eye on #7, the elusive new Ruger SP-101.

Might pick up a CZ rifle one day to see what all the fuss is about.

Browning Buckmark Camper, Marlin Model 60 and a Ruger 10/22 carbine. I own many handguns and a few rifles and a shotgun. I'm into handguns, but it owuldn't be complete without a few 22 firearms.

How common are .22LR guns?

Well, I own both several .22LR Rifles and Pistols.

In the Deep South, .22LR Rifles and Pistols are as common as dirt.

.22 Single Six is the best handgun trainer ever invented for kids (or big kids too).
We have a couple .22's but aren't over the top.
A couple of handguns (One revolver, one pistol), A couple rifles, (One bolt, one Semi).
I would like to add a good lever to the stable, but haven't found the right one.
And another single six would always be welcome....preferably the 6.5" stainless

...and a Taurus PT22 "trainer" for the front pants pocket 9mm.

Just curious, what kind of 9mm do you have that your PT22 might make a good "trainer" for? I have a pocket P11 but I don't think my "PT's" would provide for a good training platform for my particular situation (wish they would as I would be up lot's of "ammo bucks ;))."

I have a couple of PT22's and one PT25 and I think you will be quite pleased.

-Cheers

I honestly am surprised at the number to .22s I have. If someone had asked me and a didn't really take the time to think through them all, I would have said something like "oh, probably 5 or 6". Adding them up...I'm a bit shocked that, between my wife and I, we have 23!!

Yeah, 5 or 6 is my standard answer to questions like this, but there are actually more 22's.

1 Marlin 60 from the 80s
2 Marlin 39A's, 1952 and 1977.
1 Ted Williams lever action single shot circa 1971? (My very first .22 from my folks).
1 Armscor semi auto barn gun, a true beater I traded a boom box for about 1985. I saw one at the gun show yesterday they were asking $269 for... really?
1 Kimber conversion for my .45
