How many guns do you own?

Exactly, mike. If you don't want people to know then don't post about it. I'm not your wife or your girlfriend and I'm not the Antigun task force collecting information. I started this thread because I was bored and wanted something to read.

My mistake on the 5 and 35 thing.. it was a bit late when I made the poll and i was tired.

HankB, I've tracked down where you live by your IP address through your post and your ISP and now i'm coming with an army of BATF agents and the IRS and some repo men and other crooks and we're going to take you for everything you're worth!

My standard response is that I have a deer rifle, a 22 for plinking, and a shotgun for squirrel or grouse hunting. Unless I know the person, the question is usually asked because they heard that you "liked" guns or "have" guns and they don't like it. They already have their anti-opinion in place and hunting firearms are enough of a starting point to get their opinion.

I would rather the survey included "Not telling" or "Nobody's business but mine".

According to my wife...too many. Personally...not near enough. Truthfully though, I think the real need might be three pistols, three shotguns, and three rifles. Carefully chosen firearms would fill most needs...but NEVER all the WANTS!
