How do you feel about "Big Box Gun Stores"

I may see a BBS that has runs a special once in a while that is a good deal but I have allways had a local gun shop that can beat or match any deal in see at the BBS or even web based stores.

I have to say my store of choice is Bud's. I mail order when I am home and if I can wait for a rifle I will normally buy in store when I am in their town.

I try to but my local gunshop is very pricey on ammo. They charge like 35 bucks for 100 shotshells of #7.5 birdshot. Wally World charges 21 dollars. I feel somewhat bad shopping at walmart, being a union worker, but I'm able to live with myself because the local guys are screwing me on ammo while wondering why people don't "buy from the little guy" ammo is the ONLY thing I buy at Wal-Mart

Do you feel like you are "screwing" your employer because you believe you deserve a fair wage? Why should a local shop that cannot even come close to buying at the volume levels of a Walmart or online store be expected to match prices? Do the online or corporate stores offer the same level of service? In my case the local guy, even if he is a little higher on prices for some ammo, usually beats the big guys on gun prices and offers excellant service and support. To each his own but I try to deal with others as I would like them to deal with me.
