How does one 'forget' about ammo ?

The other day I opened a tote labeled "x-mas 2019" , thinking is was ornaments . Much to my surprise it had 28,000 small rifle primers(Rem 7 1/2) in it we picked up in Vermont that year . I thought I had given those out to my sons and friends like I do with most things I have an abundance of . Finding those reminded me I also bought a couple cases of CCI SV 22lr xmas bullets with the fancy boxes , they can't be far off .

It's a good thing those "Christmas ornaments" didn't get donated to goodwill or something. :D

Wow, I never thought of something like that . I did just put some totes in an out building, I better check those for forgotten gems. Thanks for that.
 
I found some more. Yesterday while looking for some Mauser stripper clips, I found three boxes ago 40 S&W and one box of 45 Auto. They were in a 20mm ammo can along with a bunch of other ammo in ziplock bags.
I did eventually find the stripper clips.
