Does Dick's still sell Win Dynapoint GT 22LR ammo?

I got a 500ct box of the black-box Winchester Dynapoint GT 'Target' ammo a couple years ago and once I got around to shooting it found it is some of the most accurate bulk 22LR ammo I've ever shot in both my Marlin 60 and 25N.

Just called the local Dick's Sporting Goods and the guy said the only Winchester 22LR ammo they had was M22...sounded like he had never heard of Dynapoint GTs but then again that isn't surprising.

So...short of stopping in myself, can anybody confirm that Dick's still carries the stuff?

I was in my local Dick's last week looking at .22 brands. They did not have it....I also wanted a box, because like you said I have often heard reports that is very accurate for bulk stuff.

I am thinking that that WIN target ammo was available in the dreaded Wal Mart the last time I was in there. I think that other WM stores will also have it on the shelf so you might want to look there. IIRC they were 325 round boxes.

The ammo he is talking about is in a black box. It says "Dynapoint GT" on the front and "Target" on the top flap.

I'll try and swing into my local Dick's sometime this week. I sure hope they still carry it--I could shoot pennies at 50 yards with it out of my Savage!

I have seen both the cream colored and the black box ammo at WM in the recent past but did not at the time bother to really check them out. So I may be sending you on a false trail.

The one near my house (just outside Charleston, SC) has it. I find it to be incredibly accurate for bulk ammo. Been a few months since I bought any, but I believe it was $24. For comparison, the Rem Golden Bullet bulk pack was $17.

Oh, yeah. I went by last Tuesday and I am 99% positive I saw 3 boxes across on the bottom shelf, not sure how many behind those.
