How I Spent My Stimulus Check

I just spent $850 of it on I-ZON lenses for my RX inserts in my Wiley-X PT1s (duty glassses)and a new pair of everyday glasses w/ IZON lenses......Getting older and having damaged ones eyes sucks, but all my weapons and I are useless with out good eyewear.
Guys, protect your eyes!!!!

Any of the major retailers offering "deals" if you cash the check at their place? Like 10% off, something like that?

Filled up the diesel tank in the back of my pickup, pump stopped at $400 and the attendent said he had never seen so much fuel sold at once. I told him to restart it and put in another $50 worth of fuel.

Going to use the rest of the check for stimulating target practice.

i went to the pasadena tx gunshow today with high hopes of blowing my stimulus check & the couple hundred extra i brought along but i couldn't find anything stimulating there

Filled up the tank in preparation to go do my part to stimulate the economy.

Realized that I could do nothing more now that I had paid Exxon.

Went back home and logged onto THR.

Since everything is going up on a weeklly basis,we got a $240 water bill and a 429+ electric bill, mine somehow disapeared before arriving

Our "stimulus check" was spent on a sewing serger for my wife. Trouble is, "the check is in the mail" - we haven't gotten it yet, but the serger is busily making clothes! Can't complain though, the wife has earned that, and a whole lot more. Maybe a few boxes of .22 mag for me, when/if the check arrives.

And a new kitchen table and chair set for the Wife.

Her's was more expensive though.

Mine went to stimulate the local government. My first real estate tax installment was due the week the check came. About half that was for .gov pensions. I guess there were a few bucks left over for food.
