How many firearms do you own?

I was just curious as to how many guns EACH person owns. I read an article a few months ago that claimed the average American gun owner owned 15+ firearms.
I can't remember where I read that but it seemed high. Also I was not sure what was meant by "average".
Anyway, I currently have 8, should have 9 when 3pairs12 sells me his M44

Hahaha, I thought we were supposed to say, "they were all lost in a tragic boating accident and are all down at the bottom of the ocean"

That way the IRS can't harass you about selling them, and the FBI or ATF can't harass you about them getting stolen and you not filing them as such.

Yeah you definitely need some new parameters for the poll. I personally know folks I shoot with that have between 30-400 firearms each. One such gentleman has over 200 9mm's alone. You may get some more intersting answers.

Because the article I read said the average American gun owner owned 15 guns. I think it was actually 15.1 and I was seeing how accurate that statistic was.
