I'm getting my first shipped right now, but I think I already want another :D

I think I'd be OK with just my SKS in a period of civil disorder, but I want something a little more "contraversial" before it gets banned. My stupid state keeps adding more and more "features" to the so-called "assault weapons" ban every year. It currently allows one tactical feature.

I've asked this before I think, but does anyone know of something like an SU-16 Cal but that isn't cheaply made? i like the idea of readily available 30 round mags, if the need should arise . . .

I have:

1 bushmaster o.r.c. with a leupold prismatic tactical scope and a forward vertical grip.

1 smith and wesson model 14-4 in .22

1 smith and wesson model 14-4 in .38

1 marlin .22 carbine

I own several. They're all stored in my boat, and I go fishing a lot.

Couple of pistols, couple of shotguns, couple of rifles. Each one a different caliber except the shotguns, all of those are 12ga.

Many. I have to go to my spreadsheet when I need to inventory the safe, because I can't remember them all.

I can't understand some of you guys with 25+ guns. I'm not saying it's wrong but how do you shoot all of those?

I have like 6, or maybe 7, but either way I shoot the 12 GA once a week and the .30-06 once a month.

Okay, I'll be the first to say it - I don't have any guns. I lost them all in a tragic boating accident.

(Let's just say that if I take my shoes and socks off to count that I still run out of digits.)

Guns? What are those? I ain't heard nothin bout no guns! Any of yous guys heard nothing bout guns?

Let's say enough. Have all I need. . . don't need any more. . .EXCEPT for this one I'm looking at. . .maybe JUST one more. . . have to think about it. . .

5

2 .22's (pistol, carbine)
1 .45acp
1 12 guage cylinder bore
1 30'06

soon:
.45 Carbine Conversion Unit
SKS

That should cover the bases...

I'm guessing they can't, but probably enjoy looking at them & taking them apart like adult tinker toys.

I could see how someone who has been shooting for 20+ years could easily optain a collection of over 25 guns.

It's just like fishing or any other hobby. The more your into it and the longer you are the more stuff you end up with.

Phydeaux642 did your boat sink close to where mine sunk? I've been telling the dockmaster for years to get them old pilings out of the water. I'm just glad nobody got hurt

I wish I had all of them that I have bought, seems like all of them have been sold, now I buy bulets to remember them by

You know, I sold all of mine a long time ago. Can't remember to whom, though.. ;)

But in all seriousness - between my dad and I we have a couple dozen. I keep thinking we should unload some of the ones that are mainly collector's pieces in order to get some more guns that we might "need".

However, because everyone else seems to be scrambling for guns that they must likewise think they might "need", I don't think it's an ideal market in which to sell collectible guns. I'd hate to sell off a beautiful old gun, only to find that I can sell it for a great deal more value years later - while enjoying it in the meantime.

Thoughts?
