What if a person has mulitable personality disorder? I would quess each personality would need its own username. Then the personalites can argue with each other.

And I think if there was a bunch of hassling going on (basic nonsense) the site admin would realize that more than one name is under one IP. I guess there would be an exception in the case of relatives living in the same house...But then again I'm assuming people in the category aren't hiding it.

Having multiple personalities is very normal, unless you start to give them all different names.

just this one....i prolly should have picked something without kimber in the name because truth be told I'm crazy about most guns. No one brand fanboy here! oh well, i'll just live with my snap decision. just the one name here.

Well, "I" only have one, then there is my wife, my 3 cats, one for my 1911's, one for my revolvers, one for the shotguns, one for the rifles, a few for all the different calibers of course, some for accessories, some for when I am happy, one for when I get drunk and am lonely and just want to talk about guns, one for the rainy days, one for the cloudy ones, one for when I am at work, one for vacation, and another for when off on the weekends, I don't have a range one yet that's because I can't seem to pick up any wifi at the range yet, but I do have a wireless card so I guess I could pick up another there, I have a mobile one for on the go, but it's a pain in the ass to type a post on my cell phone, I have one for my alter ego, well it's a big ego so it has 2, then there is one for bragging, yet another for posting pictures, one playing devils advocate, and another to talk to myself when I get lonely but am sober, another for when I am hungry because that always brings about interesting conversations, one for when I am sick and taking cold medicine, I tend to rant a bit on that one, one for movie watching, another for tv watching, oh and lastly this one for when I am lying in bed with the wife while she channel surfs and I blog about guns

After 3 years here,I still have a lower post count than tons of people who've been here 6 months or less....what would I do with a second account? And thats with me spending most of my 12hr work day browsing THR.....

I just have the one. Besides being against the rules and all, I like being me - I have the same user name on every board (except here, actually - BlackBear was already taken) and I like being known as me wherever I go.
Though I have been known to create multiple accounts before, just to have someone to heckle myself with.

Just the one. I'm the same @$$ (or nice guy depending on mood) on the net
and in real life. I keep the same name on several boards so people will know
me within those communities.
Besides.... the last thing I want to do is forget what I posted under a
different name and get into an argument with myself.

I appreciate the place too much to mess with it like that.
I just have the one..and it's used on other forums (except the ones where some imposter wannabe has taken my name). I can see the need for extras though. Some people could have one where they are totally different...they could have a sense of humor for example.
