1. Who is the newest member to be in BOLD type, indicating being part of Staff, and is listed as being a Moderator in only one sub-forum?

2. Percussion Pistols and Revolvers book is authored by which THR member ? (user name only )

3. The Grammaw of one of our members runs around with a bar of soap and wash-rag.
Name this member.
Why does this Grammaw do this?

4. Tilecrawer is a nickname a member often calls themselves and is referred to by other members – which member is this?

5. Who is Harley Nolden ?
Any reason this person should have anything to do with THR?

Have fun! :)

Steve

Finally, One I Know

#3 will be Art Eatman.
I have many times seen the sig line (bogie): "Life's gonna hack off Art's grammaw anyway."
From a couple of his edits, I'd have to say she's not a fan of bad language.

The only one I knew was #3, but as soon as someone explains #5, I'll be very grateful!

Wait, he's the one with the Subforum on Firearms research or something like that, right? I still don't know who he is.

Foggy, Frantically waving hand on Question 5..

"I Know...I Know...... Mr. SM, I know."

"Harley Nolden's Institute For Firearms Research" or similar name. Reason for being on THR is well....very plain. Info on just about anything Firearms Related there

Hints (sorta)
#1 . Being totally honest, I picked up this member's user name right off being made a member of staff and being a Moderator.
I PM-ed Oleg as I did not recognize this user name , as soon as I hit the "submit button" to send PM - light bulb went off in my head as to who I and many here on THR and elsewhere refer to this member.
You folks are going to trip over yourselves but good when the answer is revealed.

#2. This member is sharp, knowledgeable, and very articulate in posting.
I have always admired and respected this members posts, one attribute is the willingness to assist another, and do so on a simple level where anyone can understand.

:)

Isnt No1 Jagermister or kitara?

kitara is correct and I consulted with the judges about your reply giving two possible answers and [ me being the sole judge :p ] and I say this answer is good.

Prizes?

Hey I had some pocket lint , but gee whiz folks, this thread started in February and here it is April.

I done lost the pocket lint...sorry. :)

Want to do another one?

If I can't win an AR, I'm really not that into it...

Now why on earth would anyone want to win Arkansas?
I mean AR is near the bottom of the list of good and near the top of the list of bad.

I mean even Al Capone could not do much with Hot Springs, Arkansas and pretty sure he had guns to help. :D

So:

1. Who is the newest member to be in BOLD type, indicating being part of Staff, and is listed as being a Moderator in only one sub-forum?

Kitiara

2. Percussion Pistols and Revolvers book is authored by which THR member ? (user name only )

mec

3. The Grammaw of one of our members runs around with a bar of soap and wash-rag.
Name this member.
Why does this Grammaw do this?

Art Eatman, who's Grammaw keeps the language on the straight-n-narrow

4. Tilecrawer is a nickname a member often calls themselves and is referred to by other members – which member is this?

El Tejon

5. Who is Harley Nolden ?
Any reason this person should have anything to do with THR?

Harley Nolden is the Dean of the HighRoad Institute of Firearms Research.

Hey, I'd take AR! It's, what, at least a 1,000 meters across in any direction and then some. Make a great range! I could store a bunch of junk that's been filling up the garage and still have room for more.

Might have to move all those folks our though! Hmmmmm.

Stickjockey,
Yep - that is correct!

hso,
besides the range,...
Since you like to cook you can have fresh trout for Trout Almondine (World Record Trout) Duck Recipes ( Duck Capitol of the World), Rice ( Rice Capitol of the World)
Plus other species of fish, with all the lakes, rivers and streams...
Game from small to Deer, to Elk and Bear.

Better Sharpen your Arkansas Toothpick
Then again you could visit AG Russel...

Gun Stuff: Remington has a Ammunition Plant in Lonoke.
Carlos Hathcock is from Geyer Springs...
SWAT contest just held at Camp Robinson...

Planes: C 130s out of Jacksonville...named (get this) Little Rock Air Force Base [told ya this state was odd :p ]

Don't bother to bring in any Orange Barrels - got w-a-y too many of those, one does plenty of practice dodging them, and gets real good at looking for exits that keep getting moved...
I like the entrance ramps with the concrete barrier that prevents one from entering Interstate
Seems Highway Dept forgot that little detail...:D

It is said one could build a fence around AR and it would be self sufficient.
Diamonds, gas, oil, timber, water, and the largest trading house off Wall Street - Stephens Inc.

We won't talk Politics...Political Machines are historically known.
