How many rounds do you shoot at the range on average?

Twice a month with my buddies, I'll put 100 rounds of .38 Spl through the revolver and 6-12 rounds of .357 Magnum just to make sure I don't lose the feel for the recoil and another 100 rounds through the M&P .40.

Twice weekly practice on my own, I'll put 50 rounds through the M&P and a handful through the revolver just for fun and call it a day.

Usually 50-100 rounds 3-5 times a week, all year long. Sometimes I shoot a few hundred rounds when I'm at the outdoor range, but that's rare.

Around 300-500 .22LR and then a handful of whatever other calibers I brought with me.

I go to the range once a week and shoot 200-250 rounds of .22LR and 50 rounds of .38spl.

At home, though, I shoot about 150-200 rounds of powderless Aquila Colibris per week in my garage with my .22LR revolver.

And if it can be counted too, it seems like I dry fire several thousand per week.

100-150 rounds per trip, 2-3 trips per week. When not at the range, I'll dry fire a couple times a week on the off days for 5-10 minutes.

For range time, first 50 rounds are slow fire for accuracy. Sometimes, shoot'n all slow fire and working on grip and trigger control. Generally shoot 9mm and, to a lesser extent, .45ACP. Just don't like the snappiness of .40s.

Next 100 rounds will be shooting a little faster, then some one hand and weak hand drills (one day of those weekly trips).

Depends what I'm shooting.

If I'm just bringing out my Glock, maybe 80-120 rounds (40 round packs), but if I have my Mark III or my Neos, I've gone through an entire brick of .22LR in an afternoon before.

(And now that I bought a 10/22 and riced it up a bit, I might be using even more .22LR than that starting now.)

Usually 1-200 rounds if I'm shooting a pistol
20-60 if I'm shooting a rifle.
On occasion, I'll make a day of it with a friend or two and we'll go thru 1K+

mosin m44 - 10-30 rnds
marlin 60 - 50+
beretta .22LR -30+
hipoint 9mm pistol/carbine - 100-300
sigma 40 - (only put 100rnds through it in 4 months)

it really depends on who i go with.

I rent as well. I just go through a box with a glock then head on my way. I would go about once a week to two weeks, but I have not been in a few months. I'll go again when I get my own gun very soon. It'll be a rifle in 7.62, either an AK or SKS (still thinking) and I'll probably put about 60-100 through it a trip since it'll be cheaper. I was never big on staying TOO long unless I had a buddy with me to split fees and ammo moneyz with

I used to go to the range every weekend and blow through two or three hundred rounds, sometimes more, sometimes less. Pretty well split between my Kimber (carry gun), glock, (beater), and 9mm AR. Rimfire didnt count.

Last time we went shooting we shot around 1K. But with the hours I work and our eight month old daughter, we dont get to the range every weekend. Maybe once every two months. When I'm home and they arent, I'll shoot cans and clays out back though.

ammo...

I ususally burn through about 100 rounds of .22 lr or .22 mag, and at least 50 rounds of either .38 special or .357 magnum.

Usually about 100 through my .45GAP, then about another hundred between my 2 .380s. My daughter usually runs through about 3-400 through her 10/22 in that time.

If I bring my .22 with me the two of us can eat up a brick of .22 in half a morning.

I always take 2 guns, one either .22LR (maybe 100 rounds or so) or a BP percussion (maybe 25 shots) and another centerfire maybe my Mini or pistol-caliber carbine and shoot another 50-100 shots. that is if the range ain't got people waiting for a bench.

If I go to a 'real' gun range where I have to pay, generally anywhere from 200 - 500 rounds.

When visiting the in-laws they live in rural areas so whenever I visit I run through a few mags of whatever I am carrying that day - not a high round count but it's nice to 'stay loose' and pop off a few.

About 300 give or take. I'll usually shoot a box through the 1911 and then half a brick of .22 through the 22/45.

.22LR by the gazillion. About 100 rounds of 9mm and/or 45acp. EVery weekend during the spring/summer. Fall is hunting season. Winter in MN is cold so I only shoot if it's warm enough for my hands to not get miserable (for me, that's about 20 above zero).

I got two 357 revolvers, the one with the scope gets 50rnds
and the one without 50rnds...or I just shoot 100 with one of them.

Then I usually drop some silhouettes with about 250-300 rounds of 22LR

Total ammo count once a week : ~375
