How much do US firing ranges charge?

Consider a trip across the state line into Indiana to shoot if you find the prices exorbitant in Illinois, Horge. The difference in gun laws between the two states are practically night and day, and I suspect that range fees in Indiana are much more affordable.

I frequent 3 ranges here in Dallas/Ft. Worth. One charges $12.00 per hour, one $15.00 per visit no time limit, one $12.00 per visit no time limit.

oaktree gun club 30 mins out of los angeles..is very nice...seperate pistol range (all outdoor)...they keep the place up and have their own ground crew...

$16.00 for all day range access..the rentals go for $15.00..again all day..and factory ammo is a bit high..(11.99 for winwhitebox115/ 9mm)..they do have reloads at $9.00 (147fmj)

not sure what the longgun ranges cost..but they are always full up at 8AM on sunday mornings

Here in Southern California, the local indoor range charges 12.00 all day, and 6.00 per rental, for unlimited time.

here is Salt Lake we have a few ranges, most of which I have not been to yet. the one that I have been to charges 6 dollars for all day, and supplies ear and eye protection.

Another range that I want to try out is a computerized range, where an image will display of a bad guy, and you shoot the bad, he drops dead. Stuff like that. or clay pigeon shooting. It sounds really cool, but I haven't made it out there yet. They charge $10 for 30 minutes. It's a bit pricey but no where else is the state has the capitol to set this up, so they can charge whatever they want, damn them *Shakes fist*
