i am not a member and have to pay 10 each time. i can also join and pay 250 monthly making me go to the range 25 times minimum to get my $$ worth.

the 10 bucks will cover 1 person/1 gun from open to close, shoot all you want. this is in houston tx by the way. how about you guys?

Most ranges here charge $5 range fees for non members. Our answer to the NRA, The SSAA Sporting Shooters Ass of Australia has an indoor rnage in Sydney. I'm a member and they charge $17 and hour, but once inside they let you stay as long as you like. I've pottered away all day sometimes. Mick.

wow 5 bucks sure is nice. wish it was like that here. they only allow one shot per second so i can never practice rapid fire.

I will admit I am out of touch as far as ranges go. I am fortunate enough to own my own range, so I don't go to a pay range. But I got to tell you that $250.00 a month:what: is crazy. Heck you could dang near buy your own outdoor range in most counties for that amount.

$15 per day, you can come and leave as you go all day.
women shoot free all day every day

not sure on the membership, though.

$5 per gun for non-members.

No rapid fire, but interesting, helpful folks. Down home feel.

Public range: 12 (3 lanes), 25 (5), 50 & 100 yds.

Membership: $100 + volunteer time. Some classes.
Free reloading equipment.

Membership gets you access to shotgun range & 200 yd rifle range.

Outdoors, in foothills of Cascades, across a nice creek.

Best outdoor deal in two towns.
(Indoor range is much closer in, but much smaller and loud.)

Will probably enroll this year.

I live in Southeast Texas around Beaumont. At one point and time I was a member of the Golden Triangle Gun Club. To be a member you have to be a member of the NRA and the dues were $40 per year. They have a few pistol ranges, 100 yd, 200 yd, and 600 yd rifle ranges, and a skeet area. The reason I joined was to shoot my 50 on the 600 yd range. Nice place but was a pain for me traveling from Buna. Now I do all my shooting at my home, on 20 acres that is. Built my own 100 yd rifle range, with a covered shooting area. So now it cost me nothing but my time and ammo. Not sure what the URL is for GTGC, but you maybe able to goggle it and see if they have an affiliate in your area. Hope this helps.

For non-members:

I usually had access to some open land and used that. Recently around here they charge about 8 bucks for the day, but too many rules and unfriendly people. They don't allow for practical excercises ( drawing from holster), so it's just for target shooting. Guess I have to buy a few loads of dirt for a new backstop.

8 bucks since I'm a nonmember. I believe it's 140 for an annual membership, but my schedule is so unpredictable that I'm not sure I'd be able to get my money's worth or not.

$55 adult; $70 family - annual. That's it.

West Shore Sportsman Association.
Indoor range
2 shoothouses
8 outdoor pistol pits/ranges
Trap
200 + yd Rifle range
Archery area

On the proper ranges, a shooter can: draw from the holster; rapid fire; shoot on the move. . . There isn't much a shooter cannot do that we might want to, provided its safe.

And we can smoke our cigars, pipes, and of course cigarettes, inside the club house.

$100 yearly fee.Unlimited pistol/rimfire rifle at no charge, skeet and trap is $4/round if using own shells, $12/round for club ammo.

A whole bunch cheaper than smoking or drinking...not sure what it says that my gun and ammo budget ( ha !) would support a 2 pack a day habit and enough scotch to petrify my liver, but I'm great at rationalizing things:D

$25.00 per year. Unlimited use. Indoor 50 ft pistol, outdoor 25 and 50 yds pistol.(With covered line) Up to 300 yd rifle. Targets .10 each. Best part.. indoor range is open 24/7.

sorry you guys prob misunderstood me but its 250+tax a year. you get 15% off ammunition and can bring 2-3 people certain days of the week. i usually go by myself so 250/year isnt worth it for me.

15 bucks per hour, 2 people can share a lane, no restrictions on shooting speed.

Membership is around $250 for the year, unlimited range time with the ability to call ahead/reserve lanes.

My local range charges $6 per day to non-members, membership is $50 annually. Then if you don't supply your own target frame you can rent their's for $5. My buddy and I went and it cost us about $17. Next time I may have to make my own target frame to take.

"Buying a house on 90 acres in the country so that you can shoot whenever you want without paying for it......... priceless!"

I'm also a member of my range but I never have gotten around to sending myself my ID card. If I wasn't so lazy I would go down there and yell at the lazy SOB who is in charge!

Range

In Little Falls, MN there are at least 3 ranges in the area. The one I belong to is pretty nice. It's called the Little Falls Rifle and Pistol Club. One must be an NRA member and then the membership fee is $25.00 per year. It is an outdoor range for rifle, handgun and shotgun and they have a nice clay bird thrower, too. Target stops are there, but bring your own targets, paper, plastic jugs, cans, etc. Just clean up your mess and brass when you are done. Bringing a guest costs an extra $2.00 which you leave in a slotted box, the honor system. The public can come to the range free for two weekends in mid-October to sight in their deer rifles before gun season opens.

All in all a very nice outdoor range very reasonably priced and open seven days a week. A great place to shoot.

OAE :)

You guys have it cheap

Here in CT prices are high. My club outdoor range pistol and rifle only is 135 a year plus work time. That is cheap. Most clubs with full facilities are 250/350 per year with the hartford club being almost 500 bucks. Blue Trail in Walllingford was 185 for an outdoor range plus a field for shotguns. Their prices were $16 a day during the week and 16 an hour on the weekends.

Also the ranges are under attack. Metacon gun club is being sued out of business and the members have had special assesments and fund raisers to pay for lawyers fees.

Family membership at Cherry Ridge is $200 per year. But that also gets us a 10% discount on shooting supplies etc. at some of the local sporting good shops. The amount I've saved from this discount, has easily paid for the membership :)

$25 a year here. Using the outdoor range is free as long as your a member. $6 to use the indoor, member or not. (Indoor is only open 1 night a week)
