WOW!! What a beautiful set but why five and not four or six? Seems like an odd number, and no, that's not a clever pun. So how much do you think they'll cost? Got to be around $10,000 or maybe closer to $15,000 with the engraving and elephant ivory grips. I could call USFA but I prefer conjecture.

If you were going to buy one of these incredible sets, which caliber combination would you choose? Given the very special nature of the set, it'd have to be .45 Colt or .44 Special for me.

45 Colt/ 45 ACP
44 Special/44WCF
41Colt/ 38 WCF
38 Special, 357 Magnum
22LR/22 Magnum

I think that's the point. The way I read it, if you buy the set you get one of each (.45 C/ACP; .44 SPC/WCF; .41/.38; .38/.357; and .22LR/Magnum). That's why there's five in the set, they're each a different caliber.

average_shooter, thanks for setting me straight ... five revolvers makes more sense now. The set is even more appealing with all of those calibers but still way too expensive for me. So how about the price?

"All 7-½ barrels with matching extra cylinders for the following caliber combinations: 45 Colt/ 45 ACP, 44 Special/44WCF, 41Colt/ 38 WCF, 38 Special, 357 Magnum, 22LR/22 Magnum."

Well, one gun with most of those options is $3,160.
SO, lets round up to $3,500 ea.
Or $17,500 for five.

Then, lets round up again for the fitted case and other stuff and call it $20,000.

Then lets round up some more to account for the "one-of-a-kind" exclusive set and call it $25,000 - $30,000.

But thats just guessing.

So in other words, WAY, WAY, WAY out of my price range. For that kind of money I'm not sure I'd want to shoot any of them even if I could afford them. Perhaps they're marketed more towards investors or collectors who would mothball them for many, many years. Mind you, if you could afford $30,000 for those five revolvers, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to buy five "Plain Jane" USFA revolvers in the same calibers for range use.
