I have a CZ SP-01 that I am considering selling. It doesn't have a lot of rounds through it and functions well. This pistol was modified by a professional gunsmith and now has the competition hammer, SA trigger (pull of about 2 lbs.), removed firing pin safety, and has the wood grips.

Considering the price for a new one, and with the less than inspiring trigger, what would you think is a fair price to ask for this pistol? As I see it, this one is far better than a new one.

I haven't made my decision to do this yet, just working out my thoughts.

Thanks for the advice.

You've had work done to it, so even though it's used, I'd ask at least whatever full price is for a new one. I don't mean full MSRP, but whatever they usually sell for new.

You can try comparing it with CZ Customs CZ 75-SP-01 custom shop pistol features and pricing.

If I had to consider selling one of my pistols, the SP-01 would be close to last on my list. :)

Well, it doesn't have the target sights (has the night sights), but that gives me a good ballpark to consider. Mine really is as good as new. I will give it more thought and may put it up on the boards next week.

Thanks for the advice!
