Hey guys, I've been wanting to sell one of my old Mosins to clear some space in my safe but I'm not sure of how much I should put it up for. Its a PW Arms 91/30 round receiver and I'm pretty sure everything is matching. The bore is in pretty good condition and the stock isn't in that bad of shape so what do you guys think I could get for this?

$100 to a newbie, $60 to $75 for a Mosin Enthusiast
I'd price it the other way around. Help a newbie get into firearms for less money.

If an enthusiast realizes it isn't worth the hundred bucks (assuming that's the reason to charge him less), just make it $75 across the board.

You guys think I could get any more out of breaking down the rifle and selling it?

I don't know enough about Mosin Nagants to have a clue lol. What state are you in? I'd buy a good-condition Mosin for the right price if FTF. I don't have one yet, and would like to pick one up someday.

You also might wanna try in the Trading Post section of this site. It's worth a shot.

Well, Cabela's has PW Arms M/N's for $150, but they are also frequently on sale for $100 to $120. So I would just price it at $100 and leave yourself some haggling flexibility.

Missouri and that's where I bought it in the first place... I plan on cleaning it up a bit so maybe I can squeeze a little more out of it.

You're definitely not going to make more by breaking it down into parts. Can you post some photos of it? Mosin value depends on a lot of subtle things.

Is it all matching?
Counterbored?
Import marked (and if so, which style)?
Finn stamped?
Which arsenal made it?
Date of manufacture?

A plain WWII, import marked and refinished gun is worth $75-$125. More interesting and rarer types can be worth a couple times that much.

I'll get some pictures up soon and I was hoping maybe you guys could help me figure out the orgins.

I'd just go $80 firm or ask $100 sell for $80 lowest. Really not a hard decision for any one with more than 4 $20 bills in their pocket take it or leave it.
