I don't recall seeing a smart criminal, but this takes the cake. A guy did this at our work not too long ago... only got parole :fire:

Sart Criminals

You never see the smart criminals, because they never make the news, just like you never see a REAL Ninja, because if you see them - they aren't real.

There are plenty of smart criminals. You don't hear about them for that reason.

EDIT: Looks like someone beat me to it

This intellectual giant actually deposited the proceeds of his misdeeds into his checking account!!

Seems that the scrapyard loved the guy. Those folk are usually darned shady in their own right.

Just because you have an old pick-up truck full of copper pipes and the house across the street is leaking water from the crawl space doesn't mean there's any thing sketchy.

Oh wait......

I'll have to ask my girlfriend's sister about this, she attends Montana State. Probably big news up there with all the 10 people that are in town :p

What a hammerhead! Not like brass casings are the normal, everyday item to be brought into the recycling yard, day after day.:banghead: Maybe when he gets out of jail, he'll be "primed" and ready to go. LOL:D

Why would he take the cases to be scrapped, he could have gotten way more money selling them online to reloaders. That's the true stupidity.

To lug all of that brass around, this guy must have worn a mask and a cape -- right up until the moment when he was caught. :)
