It depends. I will clean it every range trip. If I shoot more then 500 rounds in a day I will stop scrub the barrel. Takes 5 minutes, well worth it IMHO.
The action gets cleaned once every few months.
Its the same with my other guns. If a bullet goes down the barrel it gets cleaned and function checked. If I haven't shot a gun for a while, I will clean again to make sure everything is lubed and working right. I seldom have reliability issues with my firearms and I attribute this to proper cleaning and buying good guns.
