How to store ammo, please help?

After trying just about everything, I gave away all my plastic boxes and went to pint Ziploc freezer bags stored in .50 cal ammo cans. I label the bage with labels I made up on my PC.

Rondog, My Gawd man! Looks like you need to invest in one of them 2-wheeler jobs to tote your ammo upstairs, no wonder you said you'se too old and beat up for that. LOL Maybe you ought to have bds save you a couple of his Costco laundry soap tubs, then you could put more cat'ridges in a box. Ha Quite a dandy set up son, looks as if you're set.

I'm tellin' ya, my next house will have a freight elevator.....

Whenever I go shooting I browse the garbage cans for more boxes and trays. The range won't mind if you take them. I have hundreds of them. I like to have my ammo stored in factory style trays instead of loose in an ammo can or tub because it's all sitting the same direction and it's not getting banged around in transit. Easier to count, too.
